Project Timing Specialist JR - Remote

The Project Timing Specialist will report directly to the MCE Program (Manufacturing Cycle Efficiency), and will need to maintain a strong working relationship with all managers to ensure the success of assigned projects. Their main focus will be on the initiation and tracking of purchase orders, as well as time management.

The Project Support Specialist will also focus on tracking the implementation and readiness status, along with monitoring team KPIs.

In Short

• Ensure compliance with project timelines and vehicle labor and investment objectives.
• Implement and coordinate the overall and detailed scheduling (by phase) of the project or program.
• Ensure consistency in the execution of established timelines.
• Provide operational support and escalate blockages for MCE and teams.
• Drive compliance with MCE standards and implementation to support program execution.
• Lead the update and maintenance of key dates in Power BI, Smartsheet, and KPI tracking.
• Identify launch costs and track resource onboarding/deployment, escalating as necessary.
• Support the definition and establish production increase scenarios considering all launches.
• Participate in the tracking and documentation of pilot builds with the MCE launch team.
• Support the execution of the training plan for the MCE team.

Requirements

• Ensure financial objectives of work, validation, and prototype are met.
• Create/manage communications and responses to communications.
• Manage the vehicle construction plan and its delivery to meet vehicle validation requirements.
• Manage the commercial launch plan (volumes and dates) with brands, plants, and purchasing department.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create governance presentations on product action requests.
• Facilitate PMT meetings and program reviews.
• Escalate issues and blockages in a timely manner, driving their resolution.
• Lead meetings, gather and monitor inputs for Engineering R&D spending, and develop/control engineering resources according to the approved spending plan.
