This role is for a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer on the Fusion Tools team, a key domain that underpins Allstate's Global Security Fusion Center (GSFC) operations. This individual will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the core platforms, tools, and integrations that enable security teams to operate at peak efficiency.

In Short

Implement, maintain, and optimize Cyber SOC platforms and tooling.
Engineer and integrate security automation using various tools.
Build, configure, and maintain AWS architectures.
Execute VMware-to-AWS and SaaS migration tasks.
Deploy, configure, patch, and secure key tools.
Monitor and troubleshoot platform and tooling issues.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and automation scripts.
Support audit readiness and control implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements.
Own and deliver projects with quality and in a timely fashion.

Requirements

5+ years in cloud, security engineering, or platform operations roles.
Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, and various automation tools.
Strong background in solutions implementation and IAM/RBAC.
Deep technical skills in RHEL/Linux and networking.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or automation scripting.
Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
Experience with Microsoft security stack is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
Strong communication skills for technical collaboration.
Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect are preferred.
