In Short

• Work with the Claims/Special Investigation Unit to combat fraudulent claims.
• Research, prepare, file, and litigate fraud cases.
• Develop litigation strategies on complex legal matters.
• Draft discovery requests, motions, and legal briefs.
• Conduct Depositions and Examinations Under Oath (EUOs).
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and prepare related documentation.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses in litigation preparation.
• Represent the company in State and Federal court appearances.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethics and integrity.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate and active membership in the Florida State Bar.
• 7+ years of complex litigation experience.
• Experience with medical and insurance fraud litigation.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage complex litigation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Team player with collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of legal holds and discovery processes.
• Federal Court experience is ideal.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.
