DevOps Engineer III - BAT - Remote

Overview

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is seeking a DevOps Engineer III to serve as the Senior DevOps Lead for the CAST Imaging deployment, configuration, and operations in a secure DoD AWS environment.

In Short

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for Kubernetes-based deployment and automation.
• Partner with software, cyber, and infrastructure teams for mission objectives.
• Design platform-wide automation and compliant infrastructure.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Maintain STIG compliance and vulnerability mitigation documentation.
• Prepare technical documentation and IaC guides.
• Work within an Agile SDLC environment.
• Support AWS Cloud One and deploy mission-critical applications.
• Demonstrate leadership in mentoring and strategic guidance.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in DevOps roles.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Python.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security and DevSecOps principles.
• Familiarity with automated monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
• Ability to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Strong AWS networking knowledge.
• Experience with DoD RMF processes and ATO maintenance.
