Site EHS Manager - Remote

Overview

The Site EHS Manager will act as a representative of GE Vernova Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) at the Kühmoos substation, providing expertise, advice, and practical methods to ensure compliance with regulations, protect employee health and safety, and minimize environmental impact.

• Ensure compliance with internal EHS requirements and regulations.
• Support the EHS Manager in monitoring legal and internal rules.
• Coordinate EHS programs and collaborate with site management and subcontractors.
• Organize safety meetings and ensure subcontractors conduct similar sessions.
• Manage incident reporting and lead investigations.
• Oversee environmental programs related to waste, emissions, and energy savings.
• Maintain documentation of EHS training and activities.
• Act as the main contact for EHS questions on-site.
• Provide EHS data and KPIs for reporting purposes.
• Foster a strong safety culture across multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or equivalent in environmental sciences or safety.
• Experience in construction project environments.
• Possession of a valid EHS certificate in Germany.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with safety practices and regulations.
• Good communication skills in German and English.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage safety documents and reports effectively.
