Payroll Intern - Remote

Overview

The Payroll Intern at After School Matters will assist with the administration of stipends for program participants while supporting the Payroll Division and Finance Department.

• Assist with the program stipend payroll process.
• Respond to stipend-related inquiries.
• Navigate payroll systems and assist with reporting.
• Support payroll events and ensure accurate teen information.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
• Work in a hybrid role with 40% remote work.
• Provide customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Must have a GED or high school diploma.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• 1+ year of office or customer service experience preferred.
