Lead Product Researcher - Remote

Overview

As a Distinguished, User Experience (UX) Lead Researcher, you will oversee and guide the entire user experience research process within our organization, including strategy development, research methodologies, data analysis, and the communication of insights to cross-functional teams so that user needs are prioritized and integrated into product design decisions.

In Short

• Develop and maintain research methodologies and best practices within the team
• Lead research across internal and external facing product experiences
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies on your own focus areas
• Lead one UX researcher, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data analysts, and leaders
• Create compelling presentations and reports to communicate learnings
• Keep abreast of emerging UX research methodologies and industry trends
• Evaluate and refine research processes to maintain quality & effectiveness

Requirements

• 6+ years industry experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Experience in user-centered design principles and practices
• Demonstrated track record of leading research projects
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills
• Understanding of general user behavior and needs
• 1-3 years of experience in leading a small team
