Overview

The Senior Tunnel Ventilation and Fire Protection Engineer will support AECOM's US Transportation Practice, focusing on the design and optimization of ventilation and fire safety systems for tunnels and other facilities.

In Short

• Lead consultancy in tunnel ventilation and fire safety system design.
• Develop technical reports, calculations, and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• Professional registration (PE) in at least one state.
• Experience with tunnel ventilation and fire safety regulations.
• Knowledge of systems engineering and equipment testing.
• Fifteen years of relevant experience preferred.
• MS in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Expertise in CFD modeling and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to NYC.
• Technical report preparation skills.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical performance quantification.
