Senior Environmental Project Manager/Team Leader - Remote

Overview

AECOM is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Environmental Project Manager/US Rockies Environmental Team Leader to join our mountain west team. This hybrid position can be based out of our Denver, CO, Fort Collins, CO, Murray, UT or Phoenix, AZ offices.

In Short

• Lead projects related to renewable energy and environmental permitting.
• Manage and grow a team of environmental professionals.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee proposal development and contract negotiations.
• Monitor market trends for growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events.
• Support permitting and environmental impact analysis.
• Travel for agency/client meetings and field work.
• Contribute to AECOM’s Sustainable Legacies program.
• Work in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field.
• 6 years of relevant experience in environmental permitting.
• Valid U.S Driver's license required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Strong experience with federal agencies and energy companies.
• Leadership in proposal development.
• Experience managing interdisciplinary projects.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Organizational management skills.
