Project Manager / Project Director, Water - Remote

Overview

This role involves leading and managing various aspects of small to medium-sized water utility projects, primarily within key client long-term frameworks.

• Lead and manage projects with full accountability for successful delivery.
• Oversee project contracts, ensuring they are delivered within scope, budget, and timeframes.
• Handle change management by documenting early warnings and negotiating changes with clients.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, identifying risks and required resources.
• Assess and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Manage contracts under various forms, including NEC.
• Ensure quality management processes are followed for all project activities.
• Engage with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across the business.
• Build strong relationships with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Experience in delivering water and wastewater/treatment projects.
• Strong commercial, risk management, and contractual skills.
• A degree or equivalent in a related engineering subject.
• Chartered Engineer Status or APM registration.
