Project Construction Manager - Remote

Overview

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Project Construction Manager to join our team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive delivery of multiple projects, ensuring their successful execution in line with established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

In Short

• You travel frequently and split time between working on the client site, AECOM office and from home.
• Serve as a key member of the Project Delivery Team, reporting to the Project Manager.
• Oversee the operational delivery of all construction projects.
• Manage end-to-end project services, meeting strict programme deadlines with measurable performance indicators.
• Maintain a strong commitment to Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) protocols as a top priority.
• Foster robust interaction with the client team to maintain clear communication and client confidence.
• Lead and motivate contractors and colleagues to deliver excellence in a dynamic environment.
• Ensure alignment with the client’s and AECOM’s HSSE requirements.
• Deliver projects within agreed budgets and implement cost-saving measures.
• Execute programmes with strict adherence to time, cost, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational role in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Fluent Dutch and English language skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in compliance and ethics.
• Proven HSSE leadership experience.
• Strong client focus and ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Recognized construction or engineering qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Experience managing diverse operational teams in a high-pressure environment.
• Track record of delivering complex projects within challenging timelines.
• Valid driving license.
