Overview

AECOM is seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Ecological Risk Assessor to become an integrated member of AECOM’s risk assessment and remediation practices, with flexible location options including remote work.

In Short

  • Support a wide range of projects for Federal clients throughout the U.S. (and internationally).
  • Perform field work as needed.
  • Conduct ecological risk assessments following regulatory guidance.
  • Develop Risk Assessment Work Plans and contribute to Sampling and Analysis Plans.
  • Coordinate with internal project teams and delegate tasks to junior staff.
  • Prepare technical deliverables, including reports and risk assessment calculations.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations for risk assessments.
  • Ensure work quality and efficiency at or above company standards.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in related field and 4+ years of experience in ecological risk assessments.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass background checks.
  • Experience in data analysis and applied statistics preferred.
  • Knowledge of USEPA Ecological Risk Assessment Guidance preferred.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with PFAS, PCBs, and lead evaluations preferred.
  • CERCLA experience with Remedial Investigations preferred.
  • Experience working on Navy or Department of Defense projects preferred.
  • Experience in Hawaii and Pacific Islands projects preferred.
