Civil / Structural Designer - Remote

Overview

AECOM is seeking a Civil/Structural Designer to support our growing Energy Practice, providing a wide range of civil and structural engineering services across various market sectors.

In Short

• Support civil and structural engineering services for energy projects.
• Work remotely or from various Energy offices across the USA.
• Lead civil/structural design and develop construction package drawings.
• Prepare civil and structural deliverables considering safety and cost.
• Manage data through the project life cycle.
• Collaborate with project teams to create quality deliverables.
• Ensure technical and safety standards are maintained.
• Utilize Autodesk 2D and 3D platform packages.
• Participate in complex, multi-discipline projects.
• Contribute to project specifications and contract documents.

Requirements

• BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or AA/AS + 6 years of relevant experience.
• High level design and CAD skills.
• Experience in concrete and structural steel design.
• 2+ years as lead civil/structural design lead preferred.
• Experience in collaborative model environments.
• Knowledge of industry standards and specifications.
• Understanding of vendor documentation.
• Experience in civil site design.
