Overview

AECOM is seeking a Civil/Structural Designer to support our growing Energy Practice, providing a wide range of civil and structural engineering services across various market sectors.

In Short

• Support civil and structural design for energy projects.
• Work remotely or from various Energy offices across the USA.
• Lead design efforts and develop construction package drawings.
• Prepare civil and structural deliverables considering safety and cost.
• Utilize data sources for project modeling.
• Manage project data throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Apply industry standards and maintain technical safety standards.
• Assist in preparing project specifications and contract documents.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and effective communication.

Requirements

• BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or AA/AS + 6 years of relevant experience.
• High level design and CAD skills.
• Experience in concrete and structural steel design.
• 2+ years as a lead civil/structural design lead preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk 2D and 3D platforms.
• Knowledge of Common Data Environment management.
• Understanding of vendor documentation.
• Exposure to substation facilities layout and design.
• Experience in civil site design.
