Overview

The Civil Site Lead, Power Delivery at AECOM is responsible for leading and managing civil work at substation and transmission line sites, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and construction schedules while working remotely.

• Lead and manage civil work at substation and transmission line sites.
• Create and supervise earthwork, grading, drainage systems, and access roads.
• Review and interpret civil design drawings and technical documents.
• Manage site surveys for transmission line routes and substation layouts.
• Coordinate with electrical teams to resolve interface issues.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Provide technical leadership to site civil engineers and inspectors.
• Support project commissioning and ensure safety and specification compliance.
• Occasional travel required to other AECOM locations and client sites.
• Able to participate in field walks and create field sketches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineering license (P.E.).
• Proven experience with site grading, drainage, and substation layout.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Understanding of substation site planning and access requirements.
