Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure & Kubernetes) - Remote

Overview

The IT Operations is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Azure and Kubernetes (AKS) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives on designing and driving scalable cloud infrastructure, mentoring teams, and shaping DevOps culture and practices across the organization.

In Short

• Ensure ongoing health and stability of pipelines, monitoring, infrastructure across multiple environments
• Implement, deploy and manage highly available Azure environments with AKS and other Azure PaaS for production workloads
• Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to streamline delivery cycles and improve system resilience
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance DevOps maturity and automation
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure, pipelines, and Continuous Delivery (CD) using Azure DevOps and other tools

Requirements

• 5+ years of working experience in a DevOps role with increasing levels of responsibility
• Expert-level proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Implement and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure PaaS offerings including Front Door, API Management (APIM), Azure Storage, RabbitMQ, Redis, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Virtual Networks and VPN.
• Very good Knowledge of Helm, ARM and BICEP templates, PowerShell, GitHub, NuGet, NPM.
• Service provisioning, upgrades, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
• Experience in modern Software Development Life Cycle processes, continuous integration, and delivery under Microsoft stack
• Strong background in cloud networking, identity, and security in Microsoft Azure environments
• Familiarity with observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• Apply best practices for security, observability, and high availability in production clusters
• Support troubleshooting and incident response related to infrastructure and deployment issues
• Previous experience in development (.NET, SQL) is welcome
• Good written and verbal communication in English
