Summer 2025 Paid Undergraduate Intern, Communications and Marketing - Remote

Overview

The ACLU seeks an Undergraduate Intern in the Communications department of the ACLU’s National office in New York. This position is remote.

In Short

• Assist in running the online store efficiently and profitably.
• Regular online store updates including product page setup and digital marketing support.
• Brainstorm new products and promotional campaigns.
• Conduct product photography for social media and email marketing.
• Analyze budget, inventory, and sales data using Excel.
• Research industry trends to influence marketing and product strategy.

Requirements

• Previous ecommerce experience for a major brand or retailer.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable analyzing data.
• Understanding of internet and social media trends.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly web-based research including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits

• Stipend available for students authorized to work.
• $20/hour for undergraduate students or equivalent experience.
• $24/hour for graduate and law students or equivalent experience.
