Graphic Design Artist (Volunteer/Remote)

Overview

This is a volunteer role that provides an opportunity to gain valuable work experience while supporting ARO’s mission to help victims of abuse.

In Short

• Support requests by Graphic Design Manager and Supervisor.
• Design and redesign graphics, logos, illustrations, and advertisements.
• Analyze and plan design frameworks according to project specifications.
• Ensure adherence to ARO's policies and standards.
• Complete projects within given timelines.
• Stay updated on the latest design techniques.
• Suggest improvements for design quality.
• Assist team members in selecting appropriate visual elements.
• Leverage creative knowledge for new campaigns.
• Attend department and company meetings.

Requirements

• Available to volunteer 8-10+ hours/week.
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Video Editing experience in Figma or Adobe After Effects.
• Excellent creative and innovative skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Effective relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of interactive design best practices.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
