The Acute Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse provides direct patient care across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with healthcare policies and delivering a positive patient experience.

• Float between multiple locations including New Bedford, Fall River, Weymouth, Brockton, and Cape Cod.
• Provide direct patient care in various dialysis modalities.
• Supervise Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to adjust treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately in records.
• Participate in staff training and orientation.
• Conduct safety tests on dialysis machines.
• Manage patient schedules based on critical needs.
• Travel required between assigned hospitals and facilities.
• On-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Current state RN licensure.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• 6 months nephrology experience required.
• Strong assessment skills for critically ill patients.
• BLS and ACLS CPR recognition preferred.
• Leadership skills to supervise others.
• Completion of Nurses Technical Training.
• Ability to lift heavy patients and equipment.
• Knowledge of dialysis and apheresis procedures.
• Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures.
