Show Control and Video Project Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Show Control and Video Project Engineer will engage in client discovery sessions and participate in project design meetings, creating AV and Control design packages while coordinating technical solutions.

In Short

• Engage in client discovery sessions alongside sales, design, and engineering team
• Participate in project design meetings with clients
• Create AV and Control design packages
• Communicate technical design solutions with clients and teams
• Assist with technical oversight and system configuration
• Assist programmers with technical direction
• Prepare consultant specified bids and submittals
• Travel is expected on average 50% of the time
• Work in a hybrid office/remote environment
• Enjoys traveling for unique projects

Requirements

• Advanced Control Systems Programming and Operation
• Proficient scripting abilities (Lua, JavaScript, etc.)
• Video and Presentation Systems Programming
• Networking Management and Configuration
• Q-SYS Audio & Control certification preferred
• 2 to 5 years of work experience in Audio/Visual or Software Development
• Experience with electronic control systems
• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
