Remote Programmer for Generation Systems

Overview

In this role, you will take technical responsibility for the automation, control, and regulation of feed-in systems, particularly photovoltaic large systems and storage systems.

In Short

• Development, implementation, and maintenance of control and regulation algorithms for PV and storage systems
• Programming of PLC systems (especially Phoenix Contact) in Structured Text (ST) according to IEC 61131
• Implementation of requirements from VDE-AR-N 4105, 4110, and 4120 in plant control
• Parameterization of control logics for active power and reactive power control, feed-in management, and grid protection functions
• Integration of plant control into VCOM (monitoring and data platform) and connection to grid and remote control technology
• Support in the technical representation of Redispatch-2.0 processes
• Simulation, testing, and commissioning of control functions in laboratory and field environments
• Fault diagnosis, optimization, and further development of existing control solutions
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (e.g., circuit diagrams, functional descriptions, software statuses)

Requirements

• Completed or advanced studies or training in automation technology, electrical engineering, control engineering, computer science, or comparable
• Experience in PLC programming, ideally with Phoenix Contact (ST)
• Knowledge of automation systems (e.g., IEC 61131-3, SCADA, remote control technology)
• Practical knowledge of relevant VDE standards (4105, 4110, 4120)
• Basic understanding of grid regulation, feed-in processes, and power generation
• Experience with data platforms (e.g., VCOM) and monitoring systems
• Knowledge of Redispatch 2.0, market roles (EIV, BTR), and regulatory requirements
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and enjoyment of technical troubleshooting
