Freelance Android Automotive Developer (Kotlin/Java & AAOS) - Remote

Overview

We are developing an MVP that will capture events from a car's sensor systems and display statistics and measurements interactively on the in-vehicle screen.

In Short

• Develop an MVP for in-vehicle applications using Kotlin/Java and Automotive OS.
• Collaborate with a team of three engineers.
• Create interactive interfaces for displaying real-time data.
• Utilize Raspberry PI as part of the hardware solution.
• Work on both backend and frontend components.
• Strong experience in Android and Automotive Systems required.
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack Compose is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English are necessary.
• Experience with Dependency Injection and Clean Architecture is beneficial.
• Background in embedded programming and Linux is a bonus.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with Java/Kotlin/Android.
• Proven expertise in backend development in real-time or embedded environments.
• Hands-on experience with Automotive OS (AAOS).
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
