Overview

The Foundations and Corporate Relations Officer at YWCA Seattle King Snohomish is responsible for cultivating relationships with corporate and foundation funders, writing grants, and supporting the organization’s mission of social justice and racial equity.

In Short

  • Full-time position (32 hours per week)
  • Focus on grant writing and funding proposals
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 40 funders
  • Collaborate with the Director of Institutional Philanthropy
  • Conduct prospect research for new funding sources
  • Support corporate sponsorship asks for fundraising events
  • Work with diverse communities and promote anti-racism
  • Utilize Salesforce for tracking grant activities
  • Occasional night and weekend work may be required

Requirements

  • 4+ years of fundraising experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or fundraising management certificate
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar donor database
  • Experience with communities of color
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate corporate and foundation relationships
  • Core competencies in collaboration and social justice advocacy
