Brand Motion Designer - Remote

Overview

This role will define how motion shows up across webAI’s brand and product experiences, shaping the emotional layer of the design system and translating complex technology into elegant, human moments.

• Define and execute motion strategies for brand and product experiences.
• Work with product, design, and marketing teams for cohesive animations.
• Create high-quality prototypes and animations using various tools.
• Build scalable motion design principles for brand consistency.
• Simplify abstract concepts through engaging motion design.
• Focus on timing, typography, and polish in animations.
• Stay updated on industry trends for innovative solutions.
• Ensure animations are optimized for performance across devices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in motion design.
• Portfolio showcasing expressive animation in web or UI.
• Ability to work in ambiguity and turn abstract prompts into outcomes.
• Strong sense of typography, timing, and detail.
• Systems-thinking mindset and self-starter attitude.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Figma, and Cinema 4D.
• Familiarity with Lottie, Rive, and similar tools.
