Overview

Are you a Water Resources Design Engineer looking to expand your experience? VS Engineering needs a strong leader capable in complex design services for water resource engineering projects including water, wastewater, storm water, civil site, and/or watershed projects.

In Short

Develop complete construction documents and specifications.
Participate and assist the team with creative planning, design and construction inspection of various civil engineering projects.
Lead the preparation of planning documents, engineering plans, details, reports, specifications and construction cost estimates.
Coordinate with clients, regulators and permitting agencies.
Contract administration and bidding support.
Complete field assignments as needed for data collection and field checks.
Prepare and contribute to portions of water resources project proposals, change orders, client contract and communication pertaining to specific projects.
Generate water resources designs aligning with the most up to date design standards.
Research and prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
Registered Professional Engineer in IN or KY or OH.
5-7+ years' experience in designing water resource projects.
Background working on public sector design projects like INDOT, county, and municipal design projects.
Experience with water and/or wastewater, combined sewer overflow consolidation, and municipal program management.
Technical knowledge in MicroStation/AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, GIS, and various water resources software modeling packages.
