Veeva Systems is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Senior Tax Analyst to oversee critical aspects of our domestic tax operations, preparing tax provisions and driving compliance in a cutting-edge environment.

In Short

• Prepare quarterly and annual global ASC 740 tax provision models.
• Lead calculations for tax implications related to ASC 718 Stock-Based Compensation.
• Execute tax accounting control compliance under Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Collaborate with external service providers on Federal and State income tax returns.
• Oversee the accurate and timely filing of tax forms and payments.
• Handle federal and state notices, tax audits, and inquiries.
• Reconcile general ledger tax accounts monthly.
• Conduct research and provide analysis on tax implications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for tax purposes.
• Lead ad hoc tax projects for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in federal and state income tax compliance.
• Expertise in ASC 740 tax provision preparation.
• Sharp analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
