Overview

This position will operate on a remote, freelance basis. HowToGeek.com is looking for a Microsoft Specialist to write feature articles for the website. This includes expertise on databases, presentations, and spreadsheets. That said, you can write across any section of the site in which you have first-hand expertise!

In Short

Write consistently and meet assigned deadlines
Assigned articles with the ability to pitch your own ideas
Stay up to date on the latest Windows news and updates
Work within a CMS, adhere to style guidelines
Relevant experience in writing and editing in English
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Knowledge of other tech is a plus
Provide CV and cover letter addressing specific questions
Links to previously published work required
Engaging community of tech enthusiasts

Requirements

Relevant experience in writing and editing in the English language
Expert knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other tools
Knowledge of other tech (a plus)
