Manual QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our team of Software Quality Engineers. This role involves ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications by designing, executing, and maintaining test plans and cases across multiple platforms.

In Short

• Conduct thorough testing of web and mobile applications across various devices and operating systems.
• Define and execute test plans, test cases, and regression testing strategies using TestRail.
• Analyze system changes and provide effective test coverage.
• Track, report, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
• Develop test scenarios using Gherkin notation to align with modern testing best practices.
• Ensure sufficient test coverage across customer-facing platforms and internal tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on web and mobile application testing.
• Solid understanding of QA best practices (ISTQB certification preferrably).
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as TestRail, JIRA, and Postman.
• Ability to write and execute test cases in Gherkin notation.
• Experience in bug reporting, tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of automation tools like Playwright or TypeScript is beneficial.
