Volunteer Language Teacher - Remote

Overview

The Educational Equality Institute is seeking a volunteer Language Teacher to enhance the language skills of students, particularly in response to the war in Ukraine.

In Short

• Develop lesson plans and materials for language teaching.
• Conduct online or in-person language classes.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff.
• Support students in achieving language goals.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Experience in teaching or tutoring language learners.
• Ability to develop effective lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Passion for helping underprivileged communities.
• Fluent in German.
• Language teaching certificate is highly valued.
• Good level of spoken/written English.
