Coding Supervisor - Remote

Overview

The Coding Supervisor will play an important role in the overall performance of TOA and the Revenue Cycle Function, providing support and guidance to the coding team while ensuring coding accuracy and efficiency.

• Work closely with a multi-coder team to maintain coding workflow processes.
• Monitor communication between coders and providers.
• Ensure individual coding production is maintained.
• Drive operation efficiency and sustain excellent coding workflow.
• Provide oversight of daily coding team huddles.
• Assist in training new coders and conducting interviews.
• Monitor coder accuracy and productivity.
• Maintain confidentiality in all operations.
• Use critical thinking for decision making.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certification required: CPC, CCS-P, and/or COSC.
• Orthopaedic coding experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of coding experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a supervisory position preferred.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
