Study.com is seeking experienced Science Experts to create engaging, academically rigorous longform lessons for our educational platform. Our ideal Science Expert possesses deep subject matter knowledge, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to explain complex scientific concepts in an accessible manner while maintaining academic integrity. This is an online, remote contract role.

In Short

• Develop comprehensive academic science lessons (1,000-2,000 words) based on provided titles and keywords.
• Create clear, accurate content that fully addresses the lesson topic while maintaining academic rigor.
• Incorporate relevant examples, diagrams, and visual aids to enhance understanding of scientific concepts.
• Review and edit FAQ sections to ensure accuracy and alignment with lesson content.
• Craft appropriate Header titles that incorporate keywords while clearly defining the central topic.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a scientific field OR Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years teaching experience.
• Teaching or lecturing experience in scientific subjects.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and respond promptly to feedback.
