Middle School English Teacher - Remote

Overview

The Middle School English Teacher is responsible for delivering course content in an online environment, supporting students’ individual needs, and managing the learning process while working from home.

In Short

• Full-time position with a base salary of $40,000.

• Conduct live synchronous teaching for a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and six months of student teaching experience.
• Must meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) under NCLB.
• Knowledge of state content standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Access to reliable high-speed internet.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
• Experience working in a virtual environment is preferred.
• Ability to maintain teacher certification and professional development hours.
• Fluency in technology systems and curriculum.
