Overview

We are currently seeking a contract Lead Webcomic Artist to work on an original Supernatural Action Drama IP. As lead artist, you will spearhead the visual style and help develop the next beloved story world alongside a creative team.

In Short

• Lead artist for a new webcomic IP in the supernatural action drama genre.
• Create high-quality vertical scroll comic episodes with a focus on dynamic compositions.
• Work collaboratively with writers and the creative team.
• Develop character designs and visual settings for the story.
• Deliver episodes weekly, consisting of 55-65 panels each.
• Contribute narrative ideas to enhance the project's story.
• Must have a portfolio showcasing relevant artistic styles.
• Commit to the project for at least 9 months.
• Attend occasional meetings during Pacific time-zone hours.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating supernatural, action, fantasy, and anime/manhwa styles.
• Familiarity with vertical scroll webcomic storytelling aesthetics.
• Ability to illustrate a variety of characters including mythological beings.
• Organized and layered file submissions (Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint).
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Positive attitude and professional communication skills.
