The Linux Systems Engineer/Developer designs, builds, and maintains robust Linux-based infrastructure and tools that support mission-critical applications, combining systems expertise with development capabilities.

In Short

• Design, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating environments
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Bash, Python, or similar languages
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Implement security best practices
• Collaborate with software engineering teams
• Maintain documentation for system configurations
• Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Stay current with emerging Linux technologies
• Proven experience in DBA or similar roles

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience
• Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Adaptability and openness to new ideas
• Commitment to professional growth and learning
• Experience in Linux system engineering or development roles
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and DevOps practices
• Experience with performance tuning
• Experience in shell scripting
