Overview

The consultant will assess the impact of Rainforest Alliance certified coffee production practices on the well-being and resilience of coffee farmers in Vietnam’s Central Highlands.

In Short

  • Evaluate the well-being of conventional vs. RA-certified coffee farmers.
  • Utilize the Farmer Thriving Index methodology for assessment.
  • Conduct remote surveys using CATI techniques.
  • Analyze data for differences in resilience and well-being.
  • Ensure quality control and data cleaning.
  • Submit interim and final reports in PowerPoint format.
  • Work under the guidance of SNV and Phuc Sinh teams.
  • Kick-off call within 48 hours of contract signature.
  • Experience in the agriculture sector, particularly coffee, is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in conducting remote surveys.
  • Experience in impact measurement in international development.
  • Knowledge of the coffee sector is a plus.
  • Ability to work across Vietnam, with preference for Central Highlands experience.
  • Strong track record in remote survey methodologies.
  • Fluency in written and oral English.
