In Short

• Develop intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces that align with game aesthetics and enhance the player experience
• Conduct user research and play testing to understand user behavior, preferences, and pain points; use findings to iterate on designs
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions
• Work closely with developers, game designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analytics, optimizing for player satisfaction and retention

Requirements

• 4+ years of UI/UX design experience, ideally in the mobile gaming industry
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and mobile interaction patterns
• Familiarity with mobile gaming mechanics and design considerations, including monetization and retention strategies
• Experience with motion design and animation for creating interactive game elements
• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine as it pertains to UI implementation
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of mobile game UI/UX design work, including interactive prototypes and final designs
• English B2+
