Overview

Our client is a global steel group, a leader in the development of innovative metallurgical solutions for steel that is more efficient, sustainable, and competitive. We are looking for a Research Engineer in the field of structural/civil engineering to join their long products specialized team within our client’s R&D center.

In Short

Lead end-to-end R&D projects in construction and infrastructure.
Define and optimize case studies to assess product competitiveness.
Develop methodologies and design rules for new solutions.
Communicate project results to the team and partners.
Monitor new trends and initiate new R&D projects.

Requirements

Engineering degree or PhD in civil or structural engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in structural design or R&D.
Proficient in designing various structures and materials.
Familiar with design software and numerical modeling.
Knowledge of performance-based design is an advantage.
Fluent in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.
