Saturday Quiz Time is a weekly publication that sends thousands of Australians a jam-packed edition of quizzes and puzzles every Saturday morning. We are looking for a Lead Quiz Writer & Producer to lead our weekly edition's creation, editing, and delivery.

In Short

• Oversee the entire production pipeline of a weekly edition.
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and verifiers.
• Create original, engaging quiz categories.
• Assist in the creation and editing of puzzles.
• Liaise with freelance content contributors.
• Manage content workflow through GitHub.
• Lead the writing and editing of monthly quizzes.
• Revise and proofread content consistently.
• Available most Saturday mornings.
• Flexible working hours throughout the week.

Requirements

• Experience in producing and editing high-quality content.
• Native English speaker or proficient EAL.
• Strong knowledge of Australian history and culture.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with quiz formats and puzzles.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
