Intern - Commercial & Industrial Designer - Remote

Overview

This internship focuses on working with new product introduction engineers to print prototype parts for new product development, specifically in a low volume high mix environment.

In Short

• Work with NPI Engineers to print prototype parts.
• Set up 3D metal printers for small plastic injection molding units.
• Investigate opportunities for Additive Manufacturing.
• Work on intercompany projects of low to medium complexity.
• Make edits/corrections to drawings in PTC Creo.
• Create parts or assemblies in PTC Creo.
• Operate FDM, Objet, and Metal 3D printers.
• Familiarity with 3D printing software.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Pursuing an Associate's Degree in a related field.

Requirements

• Familiarity using PTC Creo.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and statistics.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
