Overview

Ritsema Law is a multi-state workers’ compensation insurance defense law firm providing representation to clients in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and Arizona. We are seeking an experienced litigation associate, licensed to practice in the state of COLORADO, with 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil litigation, with a focus on workers’ compensation.

In Short

• Manage cases independently
• Trial preparation and support
• Appear at trial
• Post-trial motions and appeals
• General litigation support
• Interact with clients personally and professionally
• Provide legal advice on various issues
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Negotiate settlements
• Develop and litigate cases

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado
• 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Team player
• Reliable
• Experience with legal research and writing
• Familiarity with case management software is a plus
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

• Salary range of $80,000 - $125,000/year
