Electrical Estimator - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to work remotely, preparing accurate cost estimates while providing additional administrative and coordination support as needed.

In Short

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates using SimPro.
• Review drawings and specifications to determine requirements.
• Source, compare, and negotiate supplier pricing.
• Assist in preparing tender submissions and proposals.
• Provide technical support by interpreting electrical and solar plans.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and supplier correspondence.
• Coordinate communication between estimating, operations, and management.
• Manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
• Generate purchase orders and progress claims as required.
• Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient project approaches.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in an electrical estimating role.
• Proficient in SimPro; experience with similar software is a plus.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and industry standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
• Comfortable with both technical and administrative tasks.
