Real Time VFX Artist - Remote

Overview

As a Real Time VFX Artist, you will design and implement high-quality Visual Effects that enhance gameplay, story, and art direction.

• Design and implement high-quality Visual Effects for games
• Translate reference art into functional in-game VFX
• Create real-time special effects using particle systems and shaders
• Collaborate with Art, Design, and Programming teams
• Optimize VFX for performance while maintaining quality
• Follow established workflows for VFX creation

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in game development
• Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 and Niagara
• Strong skills in realistic and stylized VFX
• Basic shader creation skills using Unreal’s material editor
• Experience with Autodesk Maya or similar software
• Understanding of optimization for performant assets
• Experience working with remote teams
• English proficiency at least at B2 level
