Staff Product Designer, Accessibility - Remote

Overview

Reddit is looking for an experienced Staff Product Designer, Accessibility on our UI Platform team to lead our cross-functional accessibility (a11y) program! In this role, you will drive the accessibility strategy and execution across our products, ensuring that our digital experiences are inclusive and accessible to all users.

In Short

• Fully own accessibility across the entire company acting as the cross-functional expert driving the initiative.
• Design and help develop accessible strategies, components, patterns, and best-practices.
• Serve as the primary accessibility expert and advocate.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
• Lead the design and development of green-field a11y features.
• Advocate for users with disabilities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
• 4+ years in the UI/UX Accessibility design space.
• Experience in understanding and delivering accessible UX/UI at scale.
• Comfort with complexity and finding clarity in ambiguous situations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Humble, curious, and motivated to ship the best product.
