Detection & Corporate Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role will be supporting both our Quora and Poe products as a Detection & Corporate Security Engineer, focusing on strengthening preventative and detection capabilities across corporate and production environments.

In Short

• Build and maintain a SIEM to analyze logs and identify malicious behavior.
• Design and deploy canary tokens to detect threats early.
• Investigate security incidents and create response runbooks.
• Partner with IT to enforce security standards on employee devices.
• Drive implementation of Zero-Trust VPN and security infrastructure.
• Provide security guidance to non-technical teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or detection engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM infrastructure and detection rules.
• Strong Python engineering skills.
• Experience with endpoint security tools.
• Experience in conducting security incident investigations.
• Familiarity with corporate security controls and access enforcement.
