Financial Accountant (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced individual in the field of Financial Accounting for our client – a successful, family-run company from the manufacturing sector – for a permanent direct employment.

In Short

• Responsible for the financial accounting in the company
• Point of contact for internal colleagues regarding VAT questions
• Optimization and organization of accounting processes
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and preliminary annual financial statements for the tax advisor
• VAT advance notifications, summary reports, statistics, and evaluations
• Participation in budgeting, cost accounting, liquidity planning, and business analyses
• Support during audits

Requirements

• Completed commercial training, ideally with further education in financial or balance accounting
• Several years of professional experience in accounting
• Proficient use of MS Office; experience with Sage and/or DATEV is an advantage
• Structured and independent working style with a high quality awareness
• Enjoyment of numbers, analyses, and cross-departmental collaboration
