Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner our esteemed client’s remote team in Edgware, Greater London. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start from immediately for a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.

In Short

• This role is designed to offer an integrative counselling and psychotherapy service to FARSI (Persian) individuals, families, couples, children and young people.
• Qualified practitioners and advanced trainees will provide counselling and psychotherapy within BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
• Supervision will be provided by experienced qualified supervisors.
• Referrals are accepted from individuals and through medical professionals and statutory and voluntary agencies.
• The Counselling Manager will carry out a detailed psychological assessment.
• Counselling or psychotherapy will be offered for a specific period, 12 to 24 sessions subject to review.

Requirements

• Registration on relevant professional membership board.
• Must be fluent in FARSI/ Persian speaking.
• Must have BABCP.
• Experience with a wide range of mental health presentations.
• Can work well independently and as part of the team.
