Overview

Study participants are needed to evaluate audio prompts with the aim of improving virtual keyboard technology in various under-represented languages. The participants' submission and feedback will aid in pushing technological development in their native language.

In Short

  • Adjust device settings to match study requirements
  • Speak approximately 30 prompts into the keyboard app
  • Type out the keyboard output
  • Answer questions on how well the keyboard captures the prompts
  • Temporarily download a specific version of the keyboard app onto your phone
  • Log in and use an account provided to you by project management
  • Provide feedback via form outside the keyboard app

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and speak in the language associated with the study
  • Ability to read and write in English (preferred)
  • Possess a mid-to-high-end Android device (i.e. Pixel 6+, Samsung S21+, etc.)
  • Minimum Android version: 12
