Overview

Study participants are needed to evaluate audio prompts with the aim of improving virtual keyboard technology in various under-represented languages. The participants’ submission and feedback will aid in pushing technological development in their native language.

In Short

Adjust device settings to match study requirements
Speak approximately 30 prompts into the keyboard app
Type out the keyboard output
Answer questions on how well the keyboard captures the prompts
Temporarily download a specific version of the keyboard app onto your phone
Log in and use an account provided by project management
Provide feedback via form outside the keyboard app

Requirements

Ability to read, write and speak in the language associated with the study
Ability to read and write in English (preferred)
Possess a mid-to-high-end Android device (i.e. Pixel 6+, Samsung S21+, etc.)
Minimum Android version: 12
