• Monitor security systems (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS) to detect security incidents or breaches.
• Investigate and respond to low-level security alerts or incidents.
• Assist in the management of security tools such as antivirus software and encryption.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure security controls are in place.
• Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
• Participate in regular security audits and compliance checks.
• Document findings and report on security incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with security principles, including firewalls and encryption.
• Basic knowledge of SIEM tools and endpoint security.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CEH are a plus.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 environment.
• Understanding of network security protocols such as TCP/IP and SSL.
• Experience in log analysis to identify potential security incidents.
• Awareness of industry regulations such as GDPR.
