Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables (quality, scope, time and budget) for assigned projects are met. The PM will be responsible for the planning, implementation and successful completion of local, regional and global projects of varying complexity.

• Provides leadership of one or more projects of increasing complexity in the delivery of services and key milestones.
• Reviews work produced by project teams, project-related vendors and sub-contractors.
• Develops, reviews and approves project-specific activities and documents.
• Manages study financials including sponsor and vendor work orders.
• Facilitates regular forecasting communication with the Finance department.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Exceptional flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical project management role.
• Therapeutic experience in managing infectious disease clinical trials is beneficial.
• Experience supporting ethics and regulatory submissions in Africa.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in providing team leadership.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Evidence of leadership and attention to details.
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
